What a team! Congratulations to our Dolphins! 

 

Our swimming team really has done us proud that this Commonwealth games. We have won so many medal I have lost count so I looked it up. 

 

The team has faced a lot of gossip and media trash talking over the last few weeks but the way they have come together and answered back has been nothing short of phenomenal! This is truely a team that our you Aussie’s can look up to and cheer on with pride. Both our able and para athletes have brough home the good with a stunning 25 Gold, 21 Silver and 19 Bronze medals. 2 World records have been broken at these games as well as 9 Common wealth Games records.

 

Emma McKeon! What can be said about the Greatest Commonwealth athlete of all time! Not only did she break the record but set a new standard! At 5 Commonwealth Gold (And a few Silver and bronze to add to the bag) she is the ultimate champion and she isn’t done yet! Aiming for the next Olympics in Paris in 2024. What a HERO! 

 

But wait there is more! Kyle Charmers is the fastest man in the Commonwealth, Our 4 x 100m relays broke records and we took not ONE, not TWO but THREE clean sweeps of the podium in the Women’s 50m Freestyle, the Women’s 200m Freestyle and the Men’s 400m Freestyle.
